Toys in The Sims 3 generally raise the fun motive. Toy robots can be made at the robot crafting station. In general, these toys can be used by older Sims, though the Twirl, Spin, and Wobble! can only be used by toddlers and children. In The Sims 2: Open for Business, Sims can craft toys at the toy making station, or can buy toys that other Sims have made. Also, toddlers have special skill-building toys that only they can use, though older Sims can play with toddlers who are using them. The Will Lloyd Wright Dollhouse returns, and there is a teddy bear that children and toddlers can play with. Children and toddlers who have learned to walk can use the "Play With Toys" interaction to get toys from the box and play with them non-walking toddlers can play with a toy if an older Sim gets it out of the box. All toy boxes are the same except for appearance, and have a Fun rating of 7. In the base game, there is a toy box in buy mode, and some expansion packs and stuff packs have toy boxes. There is also the Will Lloyd Wright Dollhouse, which can be used by one or more Sims. There is the Urchineer Train Set by Rip Co., which is a scaled-down kid's model of the adult train set. Makin' Magic adds a pink toy box that occasionally dispenses Fairy Dust, which is a magic ingredient for kids. There is a toy box in buy mode which has a Fun rating of 2, and can only be used by children.
